Tip your shuttle drivers.

Get a preferred number, really worth it. The counter here is as slow as any I've ever been to. With or without the mistakes!

Don't fall for the "fill up within 3 miles" shpiel. There's no way they can tell if you used a gallon of gas to go the last 20 miles.

The Avis Preferred desk is Downstairs around the corner, so don’t wait in the slow line upstairs if you have that perk. There isn’t any signage for Preferred near the regular desk.

After having her purse stolen while out of town (car key included), if that wasn't devastating enough, listen how hard this company tried to help this customer.

Remember, you need to refuel your car within a 7-10 mile radius from the airport . Any further and you'll get charged extra! :-/

This well known car rental company that kicks it's customers when they are down!

Then she had to pay to have the car towed to their closest rental car lot, she was charged with not returning it to the same location. SHAME ON YOU AVIS! TRY HARDER, WE HAVE OTHER CHOICES YOU KNOW!

She was told that not only did they not have another key to the car (B.S.), but she would be charged not only to replace the key, but to change all the locks on the car.

Do yourself a favor and don't rent a car here- staff is the most indifferent people I've encountered with rental companies

Get a jeep. Four wheelin on the island lets you see way more stuff

Waited more than 2 hours for my rental car in the Avis preferred line ????????????
