Great pub ! Good food and you can bring the dog! Only pub in the area that's dog friendly , friendly staff will bring a bowl of water too!

Excellent service . Booked ahead via toptable because of an allergy and they had a menu with suitable options ticked off ready and waiting!

Great service, very friendly and quick. The chilli prawn pasta is delicious but also VERY spicy , steak sandwich is also delicious

Huge pub with lots of outdoor seating . Very busy on a Friday night

The pub is very nice and cosy, food is great too. Only downside is that you may miss your birthday while waiting at the counter, the service is sluggish.

Used to be a great pub when was Ye old Bkack Lion, now is just a modern pub , the great atmosphere has left the building...

Avoid the BBQ food!! Ribs were dry and chewy, meat in the burger was cold and the chips were still hard. Food from the kitchen is great though!

Surely one of the dreariest pubs in Town . Service with a frown, once they get to you which takes an age anyway. Avoid, unless you're desperate.

Pub with no ales at all...barmaid said "we don't sell them anymore"
