Popular spot 4 shoppers, especially fr nearby Fairprice Finest. Quick meals for local faves like kaya toasts , laksa , nasi lemak , as well as house specials belachan shrimp noodles & stewed pork noodles
The thing that makes the luncheon meat sandwich work so well here is the shredded cucumber . Adds a nice crunch and a foil for the oiliness of the luncheon meat.
Enjoyed our laksa (very lemak!) and mee rebus (homemade goodness in their sauce)
I tried chicken curry , and the taste of the food is so so, but the service was quite ok. The served rice was overcook. Clean and well managed restaurant . A bit pricy may be because of the location.
Curry chicken rice and a drink for $8. Curry chicken was not bad, tasted less ready made than Toastbox curry chicken .
The toasts are done nicely. Try the kaya butter. The pork leg bee Hoon is a blast from the past albeit unhealthy and uncle with the sideburns. Wah!
The food here is affordable and savory; a must-try if you're around the area.
Nice spot to chill out with a teh or kopi.
Try the stewed pork noodles .
Curry chicken is too watery for the expensive price of $6. Prefer the beehoon
Local delights.
Fresh sushi counter operated by Tsukiji Nakajima Suisan, the same folks who operate the popular grilled fish counter at Takashimaya ???????? - Cheen The Curious
There's always a bottleneck at the cashier & the sales people are nowhere to be found. Always. - Emily S
Surprisingly good coffee and very friendly staff. - Fredrik Sarnblad
A good place to have local style coffee/tea and some nice snacks!!! Good alternative to Ya Kun or Killiney's. - Jansen Ek
Although the toast set is not that cheap, it's value for money due to the quality of eggs used. Nicely orange and toast are as good as competitors. Big mug of drink too! - MAC
