Kao Sook Thai Cuisine

Nice place! Very friendly staff . Lots of dishes with flavor rather than punch-to-the-face levels of spicy heat. Quite affordable . I always pop by when I'm in the area.

The lunch appetizer is coconut soup and is said to be totally vegan . They accommodate vegetarians well here. Pad kee Mao lunch dish is pictured here.

Sabieng is open...but I'm hooked on Kao Sook. Great sticky rice and mango in season. Awesome value with lunch combos even on weekends.

Plus side: place smells great, the service was excellent, and the Tom Kha Koong is delicious... Cons: Bathroom reeks of perfume, and the Panang curry is way too hot.

I'm sure it's already been noted, but this amazing thai spot is called KAO Sook...not Koo. thai so dank it'll have you misspelling the joint's name...

Get the fresh spring rolls ! They are awesome! The mango panang fish curry is also great.

Extremely affordable , just 10-min drove from Santa Cruz beach !

Panang curry is fantastic. Especially with chicken .

The staff is nice! And the crystal noodles are the bomb.
