The museum is free except for special exhibits and its huge. Don't forget to check out the hackerman house for the Asian art . It's tricky to get to so ask for directions.

The Walters personal collection is fantastic - lots of older landscapes and historic art , but a must see in Baltimore especially when the cherry blossoms are out!

The Hackerman house is currently closed for renovations, but a new exhibit is opening this weekend that focuses on the Walters themselves so the 4th floor will be reopened but changed from previous.

Look for the extraordinary Rubens Vase, carved in high relief from a single piece of agate, was most likely created in an imperial workshop.
