Toast of Ballantyne

My first time and it won't be my last. The avocado omelette was delicious, the hash browns were seasoned wonderfully and of course the toast was great. Bloody Mary was perfection'n.

We eat here at least twice a week. They had a rough patch for a few months because the new kitchen staff were inconsistent with food but they have a new chef and the food is top notch again.

Raspberry-walnut = Most intensely flavored pancakes EVER! Blueberry & coconut have fresh fruit inside for added texture. Left-coast BLT has avacado & gruyere cheese . Hash browns = big b'fast potatoes .

Best breakfast in Charlotte. The southwest scramble is flawless. Seasonal gingerbread waffles are the best waffles I've ever had.

I couldn't decide between banana / peanut butter or pumpkin spice / cream cheese stuffed French toast . My server's suggestion: get half and half . Love this place!

The eggs florentine is the best I've ever had!! The hollandaise is outstanding. They make magic in that kitchen. I'm in love!!

Hash browns are great! The hollandaise sauce is a true hollandaise , not cut with milk or cream. The bacon is thick and cooked just right.

Love this place! Lots to choose from on the menu so we can always try something new. Good food, good prices and fast.

You HAVE to try the Strawberry / Cream Cheese Stuffed French Toast or the Peanut Butter/Banana French Toast !!! It is UMcredible!!!!

The omelets are excellent. Once of the better breakfast 's I have had out in a long time..

Patrick is an awesome manager. He paid for our breakfast because we had a few very minor issues. What a nice surprise.

Order the corned beef hash w/sausage gravy substituted for the hollandaise . It's a staff recommendation.

...if you want a bloody mary or mimosa with breakfast they can handle that too.

the brunch menu is spectacular. don't try the lobster Mac and Cheese . it's too oily and not enough cheese

The staff is top notch. Service this good is a rare find.

For a breakfast place, the coffee is pretty bad. They are in major need of an upgrade in that department.
