Pork , snow beans & lotus root in XO sauce good. It was a vegetable dish with meat rather than a meat dish with vegetables . The pork was pretty tasty, with good wok flavour & tender, silky meat.

Gabriel Seah

Stir fried green bean with minced pork and olives had good wok flavour & a lot of meat. The vegetables were still crunchy - so they were cooked just right.

They don't just do the usual Cantonese but also as the Chinese name suggests, some Teochew (Chiuchow) dishes. Interior is interestingly decorated: area above the counter looks like a Chinese street.

Chui chow congee is tasty and hearty.

Gabriel Seah

Half duck with chiu chow soya sauce: cold. Flavour was good though it was a bit overcooked. There was minimal tofu (so it was almost all duck - and it was deboned too). The tofu was ok - rather soft.

Gabriel Seah

Ee fu noodles with mixed seafood in a spicy sauce ok. Green peppers didn't go (bean sprouts would have been better). The sauce was ok (it wasn't spicy ). There was a very subtle wok flavour.

Gabriel Seah

Braised tofu with mixed mushrooms & bean thread was pretty good. The tofu was not very silky but had an okay texture. It was pretty tasty, especially the thick bean curd skin.

Service really bad: we look East Asian so the lady kept speaking to us in Cantonese though we kept speaking to her in English. She could speak English on the phone and to white people who walked in

Gabriel Seah

Deep fried pomfret with soy sauce was just fried (a simple preparation). It was decent, though there was too little soy sauce . Tripe soup was very peppery. It tasted ok.
