On Dec. 7, 1941 this ship was at Pier 6 in Honolulu when Pearl Harbor was attacked. It proceeded to fight attack planes and went on anti-sub patrol immediately after the aerial attack
This ship is huge and it is now a landmark . Permanently stationed at this port .
Very beautiful ship. Ask for where the Academy cadets on training cruise used to sleep.
