The Oak Barrel

A classic "must" spot at HEL Airport . Do like the locals do, since no trip is complete without a whiskey or beer at this location. Pretty good service , good beers & whiskies . Irony optional.

Hands down the best pub in Finland . Great service, customers are always in a happy mood and most importantly the beer is great. Most trips start here :)

Very nice airport bar , visit here every time back in Finland . It is the place that u should definitely try if u have to have a long wait here.

Understandably quite an expensive place, but it’s a tradition for me to stop by before my flight leaves. Vegan shakshouka was tasty and spicy .

Easily the greatest place on Helsinki-Vantaa, if not indeed the whole country . Always welcoming, humorous and well-informed staff .

The beer sausage + potato salad combo "Pitkänakki" is an absolute lifesaver in between a hard days work & the flight back home!

Don't bother with the food here ... pre made pies which are all wrong, and the sausages are like Frankfurts with KFC potato salad at ridiculous prices
