Authentic Sri Lankan cuisine right in downtown. Please make reservation upfront to avoid disappointment. Recommended for a date or group outing . Lovely colonial interior with cozy ambiance .
Black Pepper Kithul Pork . Essentially it tasted of a more delicious & crispier Chinese-style roast pork (‘sio bak’), coated with a thin, caramelised & peppery gravy
Gotu Kola Sambol. This is more reminiscent of food we enjoyed in Sri Lanka. Fresh & textures aplenty with the Pennywort-based salad . Paired well with the other heavier dishes we ordered
Unmemorable dessert tart . Wish they’d take some more risk and blend in the Sri Lankan heritage. Even sweet hopper can be interesting
This part of town is as hectic as the Delhi train station on weekends, parking is impossible. Food’s decent in the taste department, if u like your dishes hot & spicy . Calamari is a must-order
Mutton rolls were crispy delight. Enjoyed the balanced flavours of spices and mutton bits
Seeni sambol is spiced caramelised onions with tamarind . Refreshing sweet-sour flavours
Egg hoppers look like local egg appams . The egg is still soft & runny. $6 per piece
From the same chef that opened Cloudstreet and Michelin-starred Cheek Bistro , this is chef Rishi Naleendra’s 3rd restaurant in SG
March 2021 menu. One staff shared that it’ll be updated in June 2021
Lychee Achcharu. We’ll give this a miss the next time. Asian but could not find the link with Sri Lanka. Subtle forgettable preserve
The hoppers are not the stringed ones. Theirs are more appam-like. Plain $4, with egg $6. Very aromatic
The fried beef cheeks and hoppers are outstanding. Duck curry was meh.
Crab cutlet . Spices were dominant, couldn’t taste any crab meat . Unimpressed with these croquettes
Fantastic bookstore for kids! Love the smell of books here - Cheen The Curious

One of the best Indian restaurants that I have ever been to! They have unique drinks, a cool design, and brilliant butter chicken ???? - Lev Z
