Great place for lunch if you like mexican food . They play electronic music ! Try the sangria on tap with serrano pepper . It is a nice twist on that summer classic. Guacamole is awesome as well .
If possible, grab the hightop picnic table outside before the Padres game lets out, so you can watch all the happenings on 7th Ave. Pacifico tall boys are the go-to drink choice.
Sit on the bar stools outside to really enjoy SD's weather. The happy hour yellowtail collar is $5 and outstanding! Margs and salsa are kinda weak though. Definitely coming on tues next time!
Fish Tacos were good, the Mexican Cream Corn was even better. Great spot to sit at the bar and watch the world go by while drinking a tasty Margarita with Jalapeño .
I love the idea of the taco duel but ended up only liking one of them. Still- fun, clean spot and great DJ
Tacos al pastor and a michelada . The guacamole especial was interesting but I would go with the normal next time.
Disappointed by the Chorizo Burger , which was recommended by Serious Eats. The corn was amazing, and the fish collar was fantastic. Very unique - tastes like ribs !
Still dreaming of the Street Corn off the Cobb and the oysters . Beware of their house sangria ... It's super delicious and totally creeps up on you!
If you're looking for something spicy , get the skirt steak entre . Flavor profile could be more prominent, I feel like each dish is missing something or the flavor just drops off abruptly.
One of the best places to chill out while visiting downtown San Diego. Great bar , great vibe.
Tacos were really good... Think the cup of Mexican corn was my favorite thing of the night though
Amazing veggie tacos , quinoa cakes , chips and fresh jalapeño margaritas .
Everything's good except the disgusting chips . Get a salsa flight to go (even a bag of Tostitos are better than their chips )!
One of the few restaurants with the closest menu to mexican tacos . Great place
The white hot sangria was delicious. Sweet and spicy .
Besides the push to leave at the end of the night, nice bar , good layout
Ask Steph to make you a cilantro Margarita ! They are SO FREAKIN' DELICIOUS. Tell her Fadi says hi! :)
Try the Salsas picante .... & jalapeño margarita !!!! 😋
Dogs are allowed on the patio which is nice for urban doggies owners!
Great salsa flight at happy hour , only $4, until 7pm M-F
Two street tacos is plenty of food and they're really tasty
if you find yourself here, snack on the chips and guacamole , wash it down with a Mexican beer , than discuss actual dinner plans.
Street corn off the cob.... Like crack.., if you come here you MUST try it!!!
Great staff , great food, great drinks...great new spot in East Village .
The side of black beans is large and very heavy. The corn is lighter and good.
Muddled jalapeño makes a great addition to their margaritas !
The Bland BurroOrdered the Achiote Shrimp and the Jalepeño popper tacos . Both have potential, but lacked any real flavor. The pineapple-habañero salsa with the shrimp tacos had so much potential.
Best side choice: the Mexican corn "off" the cob.
Mexican street corn is to die for!
Excellent salmon and kale tacos .
Jalapeño popper tacos are serious business and the GM Ryan is amazing.
It's all about the Salsa Flight ! Chip it up!
Good & unique tasty platters
The staff can make or break a place. When I went they ruined my night out with friends.
Good tacos . I like the ambience.
If you are a drunk Bob, order from the bar and save time.
Opt for the kale slaw out of the side options.
The fish tacos are amazing.
Excellent spot for a drink & apps before a ball game !
Average. Nice location, but the food is not remarkable. My the hominy in my pozole was over cooked and looked and tasted more like soggy popcorn . That said the dorado tacos were quite good.
Try the veal.biz.
White wine sangria
Red Sangria is on point
Yum! Avocado fritas
Veggie tacos are great!
Authentic corn tortillas
Beware the bottomless margaritas .
Yellowtail collar or ceviche is bomb
Menu is not that extensive
Have the chili-lemon shrimp skewers !

The enchilada Del Mar is out of this world! You won't be disappointed! Fantastic! - Noka Aldoroty
Favorite place in Gaslamp. Excellent happy hour deals, decent beer choices and carne asada quesadilla is delicious. - Paddy
Western Metal Supply Co. is legit- grab a quick bite and beer there before or during game- they have tons of TVs as well. - Jaime Nicely
Great Football Bar. Sunday brunch was amazing. Get the Bfast burrito - so good. - Dan Gutierrez
