This place has wonderful soups (every day of the week they make a different one, all delicious) and great steaks and may put to shame many steakhouses . Also, their salads and wonderful and unique.

Enjoyed the Mexico-city soup (served on Sundays) and grilled chicken salad , along with a glass of chilled sparkling wine . They have different soups each day of the week and all are great!

Most chains get a few, or even several, dishes right, but Hillstone, located just outside the Village , manages to nail them all, starting with the spinach artichoke appetizer . Read more

Grilled artichokes are off the hook (when in season)... and well , the ribs are world class , fall off the bones amazing!

Love their signature dish - Grilled Chicken Salad . Could not find the same taste anywhere else. Great soups , too. Enjoyed their Mexico City soup (they have it only on Sundays) - a pure delight!

Love their amazing soups , every day of the week - a different surprise. Their grilled chicken salad is something unique that nobody else can match.

The crispy oyster are amazing! The Porkchop was chewy not impressed there. The cheeseburger however is worth returning for :-P

Remember to ask for the entree specials that night because they may not be in the menu. There is only one soup available per night so make sure to go when the soup you want is available .

There is sometimes a wait! Hardly ever at the bar and you can get full service there. Friendly staff . Food very consistently Good!

Who can resist the fries ,...or maybe the spinach artichoke dip !! Try the grilled chicken salad (w/out the peanut sauce ). As much as I love the atmosphere, I love to call in and just bring it home*

There's almost always a wait for a table. So is it our imagination or was Houston's among the first Houston restaurants to use flashing beepers?

I have not had 1 thing on the menu I don't like. If I had to choose what I order the most it would be the wedge salad .

The Ding's Crispy Chicken Sandwich was tasty, but the French Dip is still my favorite sandwich at Houston's.

Get the Cobb salad w honey mustard and the Mexico City soup on Sundays. Best. Salad . Ever.

The Cesar Salads are very DELISH!! HOUSTONS HAWAIIAN RIBEYE RARE IS VERY DELIGHTFUL.

Everything's great here! Feeling casual or not quite as hungry? Order the chicken tenders (basket or platter)...they aren't on the menu! Light & crispy .
