Great 3 level club. We were on the third level outdoors. Great view of Nashville and a decent selection of beers . Had live music but I could hear very well from where I was.
Very fun place, a must-see! Bring a sharpie (colored, or silver, or some white-out) to leave your mark on the table or walls! Different music on both sides!
Roof top bar is awesome! But beware. The cost of beers is the most expensive of the trip. Worth a visit.
If you’re looking for less madness, there a a great quiet(ish) bar on the 2nd floor if you enter via the alley in the back. Bonus: bubble hockey !
Great people watching . Three stories - can get crowded . It’s an iconic venue- history all over the walls. Be prepared to tip to hear your song.
Each floor has different live music . Start at the top and work your way down with a drink on each floor.
Ms Julie the bartender is awesome. Manages a huge crowd with time for extra special touches like an orange in the Blue Moon. Don't stand near the men's room door. Smells like fart each door opens.
The new(ish) rooftop offers more modern country and a younger crowd than the authentic steel guitar worshiping lower floors.
Never know who you will run into here! Go to the top floor, you can see all of Nashville from there! Great view ! Fun atmosphere :)
My First time in Nashville , and this was the first stop. Awesome atmosphere and great bands. Came back the next night
Some of the most iconic songs in Country Music history have been written here. It's worth stopping in for a drink.
Great music but insanely crowded . Either go in the back door or expect a claustrophobic experience every time you go.
A great place to watch music . Crowded ? YES! Loud ? YES! Good Beer ? YES! It is all part of the experience, great party, great time! Don't miss it when you are in Nashville.
Music on two floors. Be ready to tip! I enjoyed the vibe
Force your way through the crowds, up the stairs and perch somewhere near the cigarette machine to people watch , and get the best acoustics for the shows!
One of the best honkeytonk bars in NSH, many famous country artists have gotten their starts here (check out the walls and you'll see!).
Originally called Mom’s, it was renamed after Tootsie Bess bought the bar in 1960 & it was mistakenly painted orchid color. Willie Nelson, Mel Tillis, Waylon Jennings & Patsy Cline have been patrons.
Always a must when in town . Go upstairs and music and atmosphere is the best.
Three levels. Two have live music . Middle bar is for smoking. Definitely a must to visit
Crowded but great live music on the second floor.
Live music on multiple floors, friendly bouncers, great rooftop views .
Two stages. One in back up the stairs. Backs upto the alley of The Ryman . A smokie dive. Seeing Tyler Stephens show case. Can be crowded .
You gotta check out the balcony & take a #selfie of #broadway in the background!
The bar staff is extremely friendly and will have a beer in your hand as soon as you step through the door.
Tootsie's has a great rooftop experience with great live music !
Congratulations, you've found one of Esquire's Best Bars in America. Tootsie's has an upstairs and a downstairs bar . Each features live country music , but upstairs the music is better. Read more
Music and atmosphere is great. 5 dollar beers hurt but no cover charge
It's always great to watch the bands in the front room, but don't forget to check out the "Back Room Bands" as well ... they need love too!! :-)
Was so excited to FINALLY Mark this place off my Nashville checklist. Love the music most on the top floor.
Live music on multiple floors with multiple bars . No wonder its "World Famous!"
It was nice being there, but it was so packed, u couldn’t hardly move!!! Love being in downtown Nashville!!!!!
Great bar with even better music
Go upstairs to the other bar . Not as crowded and seriously talented bands playing current country covers and some rock.
Go to the third floor room! Best music and ambiance.
Live music lives up to the reputation. Go around back for a quicker entrance.
If your with your wife or significant other...go head and skip...its nice they have live music but the place looks like a shit hole...good place to take your buddies and get a couple of drinks.
Local Tip! If the line is moving slow at the front door... try the entry in the back- little to no lines - you enter at the "upstairs bar " everyone has posted about... have fun!
Kindly Myers is a great bartender ! Even better that she's a caytes fan #bbn
Love Kelsey. If you don't. You are an asshole. Best bartender in Nashville..... Period.
If gets verrrry busy on the weekends! Plan to be in close quarters with everyone in the crowd.
You can't go to Nashville without going to tootsies. Great bands performing daily
Go for live music and some local beer . Bring your cowboy boots!
Tootsie's oozes history! My favorite honky tonk !
It takes some pushing and squeezing to get in.. but its worth it! Try a week night for a less crowded scene.
Live music , friendly crowd (dense too), many libations! Yahooo!
The best place on the strip. All the best bands play here.
Great rooftop overlooking Broadway with live music
It's great tunes , always packed anytime of the day or night!
It was so neat to see this legendary place and a the signatures and pics of the stars
If ya don't like having a great time...don't come here. Never a cover, cold beer, awesome staff and some great live Country and Southern Rock talent. Get there early it gets busy - Chris Ingram
Friendly bartenders! Platter is good... chicken is AMAZING! - Stephanie Kearney
Really enjoyed the music here. You can get Busch/PBR/HighLife for cheaper than the other beers. - Jason Kusner
Out of all of the places we went while in Nashville, this bar was where I had the absolute most fun. The band playing was amazing and the atmosphere was super fun!!! Definitely want to go back. - Hannah Bodenstab
Rooftop bar live music overlooking Broadway...quick service and great pulled pork! - Dave Jones
