Four Mile Beach

Beautiful long beach . One end has paddle boards, chairs and umbrellas for rent or the other 4 miles are very secluded. Coconuts everywhere. Cut one open for fresh coco water

Walk Four Mile Beach at Sunrise , a must do! Palm trees to one side and crystal blue water of the Coral Sea to the other, without a high rise in sight.

Beautiful sunrises. Very hard sand for jogging. Can only swim in small netted area at end of beach near town during stinger season. Not the best beach in area by far. Try any beach between Port&Cairns

Nice for a morning / evening run or walk. Climb the steps at the city end for a great view . Swim inside the stinger net!

If you love the sun head here before 3pm. Not long after that the sand is cast in shade by the palms.

A long jog in rain, sun, warm sea air was what my body and mind needed to kick off a relaxing break in PD.

Gorgeous beach but no swimming allowed. Salt water crocs might eat you or stingers might stung you

Good flat beach . Life saving patrols. Swim between the flags.

Walk up to the lighthouse for an amazing view

Go for a walk along the beach at sunrise . The sand is so firm you can ride a bike on it.

Traumhaft schöner langer Sandstrand. Schöne Cafés in der Nähe, leider kann man nicht so einfach ins Wasser springen.
