Super crowded on the weekends. Couldn't stop tasting samples! Everything is delicious. Great spot to get meats and cheeses . Get a mustard roll!
Open since 1803, this is a piece of Toronto’s history. Visit over 120 vendors , merchants and artisans . Sample some of the best nibbles in the city and don’t leave without trying a peameal sandwich .
You can find some interesting collector pieces while browsing. If you're doing more than browsing make sure you know your stuff and don't forget to negotiate as tagged prices are a starting point.
One of the best markets -- come hungry. Go downstairs and get the eggplant parmigiana sandwich from the Italian sandwich stand. Also good selection of peameal bacon sandwiches .
Weekends it's raining are the best - barely anyone there. Weekends after a rainy Saturday, go early or you'll miss all the good stuff, cos everyone snatches up what they didn't buy the weekend before!

Great market . If you like food, go here! There is also a great italian place on the lower level that makes a sweet veal parmesan .
Delicious fresh fruits on Saturdays. Come at the end of the day (2-3pm) for great deals! Vendors will discount up to 70% on fresh produce to clear out their inventory.
Being your credit card for parking . You're going to need it. $3.00 an hour in most spots. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the market !
