Get the karaage and the samurai armor with the shōyu tonkotsu and you'll be full and happy
Spicy miso was delicious. Highly recommend it!! Most definitely had a kick to it
With three locations in Seattle, Samurai might make the best ramen in the area (Tonkotsu is especially popular)—on its good days.
Some of the best ramen in Seattle, and comparable to stuff in Japan. Everything is brilliantly fresh and flavorful!
A clothes closet feels spacious by comparison, but this International District ramen-ya (along with its sibling on the Ave) is a near-perfect rendition of the tiny noodle shops of Japan. Read more
The garlic rice bowl is surprisingly simple and totally delicious. Sweet, savory, and the perfect amount of spicy .
They have GREAT, traditional Ramen (for what that's worth). You usually won't find a Japanese restaurant that serves Ramen here in the great NW. Thank goodness for Samurai!
Portion size is way too small. Took me like. 5 bites to finish it. This would be comparable to a small pho anywhere else for the price of a large. Pretty good though, not too many ramen places around
Really good ramen options
so-so service, slightly expensive/they charge for almost everything, super WEAK portions, overall ramen is nothing special ESP for the price/portions. the pork is good tho. try aloha ramen-it's better
Great place for late dinner at u district
Not that great...service slow when there were few tables. First ramen place I've tried in Seattle. Not impressed. Especially after living in Okinawa.
Samurai armor makes any soup into a delicious meal.
Scraping your chopsticks against each other in a restaurant is rude; it shows the proprietor that you think their chopsticks are cheap . Don't do it!
Check out their happy hour
Gotta try the tetsu max dipping ramen .. !
The Hell Fire ramen is spicy but so delish.
LAST ORDER taken is at 10! They don't REALLY close at 10:30, they close at 10!
Super slow service speed especially during Dining hours. Do not come if you have any time constraint.
Don't come here if you're expecting a quick meal . The service is very slow.
Aloha ramen tastes better
Mmmm, love the ton-katsu!
Seats for one or two at the bar !
Noodles are chewy and the soup was salty. Would have preferred Cup O Noodles .
Crowded in here.
The Mango Oolong was fantastic! Strong on mango rum with a hint of tea. - Gretchen Baker Anders
The chicken teriyaki is fantastic. Good prices and quick service, too. - Matt Wastradowski
The Frapuccino‘s, and the different flavors of the chai teas, hot and cold. - Jeanne Jacobs
Beautiful, charming old concert space. Huge reverberating acoustics. Good drink prices, stick with New Belgium beer. - Miraj Shah
