Bring the kids and watch their faces light up. If you're complaining about the food then you're missing the point and there is likely a cold, dark void where your heart should be.

The lines are crazy on the weekends but if you're coming from out of town it's worth it for yummy burgers and unique atmosphere.

Great place to take the kids, very cheap . For a Saturday I recommend getting to the Crown Center fountain at 9:30am. Then go to Fritz's right at 11am. If you don't you will have to wait in line .

Kids LOVE Fritz's and it is extremely popular. To avoid crowds, try to eat lunch early (11am or so) or late (after 1) on weekends or visit during the week.

Worth the stop just to see the Train bring your burgers and fries ! Food is delicious to boot!

We ordered burgers , fries and onion rings . Service was slow and quite minimal. The kids love that the food is delivered by train !

Try the Gen Dare . A burger with hash browns on it. Sounds weird, but it's delicious.

The burgers are small, you gotta pay for drink refills , but kids like it.

The food is ok- typical diner fair - and cheap . Burgers are thin, mushrooms ok, the drink refills are full price, and none of this matters because the food arrives by a FRIGGIN OVERHEAD TRAIN !!!!!

The trains . Food is just okay.

Worst "restaurant " in Kansas city. I come here for my kids to see the trains . Food is horrible, service is worse, and it's over priced. Could be awesome if the food and service weren't so bad.

You're definitely paying for the ambience. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich . It wasn't melted, barely toasted and cold. I won't ever go back again.
