If you find it here, it's the best value you'll get so take it. The buyers of Costco know their stuff. I particularly like the wine & liquor dept. - good values & quality.

Good wine selection ! Very busy as it's the closest one to city ...be patient! Get there early for parking .

Best time to visit if you want to get in & out fast: Friday evening between after 8pm. The place closes at 8:30pm. Virtually no lines .

Where grandmothers would happily shank you and leave your body in the aisle just so they can get a free product sample.

They have EVERYTHING. Be aware, everyone else in Chicago comes here on the weekends, so be prepared for long lines . NO CUTTING!

Refill your ink cartridges at the photo counter. Drop off when you first get here and they will be ready in an hour.

Remember you don't have to be a member to grab lunch at their fast food stand

Best time to come here is 5:30 pm on a Saturday or Sunday if you pretty much know what you need. Get in and out in 30 minutes max!

Can't beat Costco. Stock up on La Croix and other sparkling waters with the best prices in the city

The lines at customer service are always long. You get what you pay for though. It is a warehouse afterall. :)

Best to go on a quiet Friday night before the mayhem erupts on Saturday morning.

Come armed with patience. The employees aren't nearly as friendly or helpful as they are in the GR, MI store & the place is always a mob scene. Can't wait for the SLoop location to open.

They sell gas for cars at a lower price than the rest of city ! Another perk of membership!

Brought back my TV after two months and forgot the power cable to it. Accepted. The consultant was right telling me I can return even if I broke it, just don't mention it :)

Customer service is good. There are persons who help you with you to load in the vehicle when you buy big items like furniture .

This place is trouble, always get something that was lot planned. Liquor and beer selections always good.

Sunday liquor sales start at 11AM. Plan accordingly, all ye besotted!

Though the lines are almost always long, they move pretty quickly which is fantastic.

Come for the least expensive paper products but surprise yourself with the organic fruits , vegetables & grass fed beef

Protip: you do not need to be a member to buy alcohol . Some weird IL/Chicago loophole.

Get there early on the weekends or on a weeknight otherwise it's packed.

Lighting costs are reduced on sunny days, as most Costco locations have several skylights. During a sunny day, it is common for the center of the warehouse to have no interior lights powered on.

I firmly believe you can tell how people drive on the street by the way they maneuver in Costco. Avoid Sat mornings whenever possible.

Shopping here on sunday during Bears game is not any less crowded .

Go for the rotisserie chickens . Only $4.99 as opposed to $7.99 at Jewel or Dominick's and they're huge!

Try the Hot Turkey With Provolone Sandwich - Tasty and inexpensive !

Kirkland brand vodka and olive oil is fantastic.

If you've bought you're tires from them & you need your tire fixed they will do it for free

The BEST sheet cakes for parties.

Have a concise plan of attack, or else you will spend over 9000.

If you can't qualify for a Black AMEX card you can always settle for an Executive Costco card!

I wish they had more organic and grass fed beef .

FYI, Can't buy alcohol until 11am on Sunday per State law.
