Holiday Inn Express & Suites Research Triangle Park

Nice hotel , looked fairly new. Was clean and was accessible to a lot of the locations in Durham I went to. If I’m back in the area again I would definitely consider staying there again.

Try out the pancake machine for "Pancakes at Night".

If you are a light sleeper you can get earplugs at the front desk. Just 2 trains go thru at night but if you have your ac on you rarely hear the train .

Get a room on the front side of the building, facing S Miami Blvd. Trains run behind the hotel all night. Sounds like they go right through the building.

Free drinks and snacks Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30 to 7:00pm. Can't argue with that.

I havn't heard any trains . My room did face Miami street (East)

Try staying somewhere else unless you like trains throughout the night.

Trains are crazy about every 2 hours.
