How can we forget Cathy Freeman lighting the flame in the Olympic Cauldron within a circle of fire during the Opening Ceremony of the 2000 Olympic Games? Bravo Sydney!

Good place to view live sports but don't get your hopes up too much if we are playing the All Blacks.

If driving, arrive early and park in the aquatic centre carpark. Easy to get in and out of at the end. Avoid P5 as it's miles away.

Great atmosphere with a crowd of 60,000 or more. Flat and soulless otherwise.

Free wifi comes in handy. Especially during footy season!

If parking at P1, try to book your seat near gate G or H.

Much better in the members area. You get better drink selection and they are full strength too

Make sure you plan your journey home! Spent 2.5 hours trying to hail a cab...
