Would absolutely recommend anyone visiting Lisbon to come here. It is the largest aquarium in Europe and beautiful. Worth buying a ticket for the temporary exhibit as well !
Amazing place for kids and adults. Avoid week-ends, crowded . Buy online tickets,, faster and cheaper. Must see in Lisbon , really with very easy bus , train , metro access
It's home to the biggest indoor fish tank in Europe with a variety of species you'll probably not find any where else. A must visit when you're in Lisbon .
It's the best ocean experience I've ever had, and the best moment of my trip to Lisbon . It's just beautiful and amazing!
Good! We spent there cca 2 hours. There’s a giant aquarium and all around small ones dedicated to every ocean and speacies which live there in. There’s also buffet restaurant inside and café .
SEA OTTERS. Come for a feeding. Entertaining for toddlers and fully grown up folks alike.
Busy place anytime of the year, best to buy tickets online. Also possible directly in front of Oceanario as they provide free Wifi . Easy to get to, nice shopping mall in vicininty.
One of the best Aquariums in Europe . Right now there is a great exhibition of Takashi Amano, who’s speciality was the live plants in aquariums .
Don't stop right away in the first window to the main-central aquarium ! Dispite the "small" looks from outside, the Oceanário is very big!
Worth a visit especially if you have kids. Pretty huge aquarium tank. Few unique things like loveable otters, feeding of penguins , giant spider crabs and adorable Vasco. Take bus 728 or red metro.
It is definitely a must see in Lisbon ! Be amazed in the main aquarium and get a lot of info in the other rooms. Don't hesitate to ask questions to the staff , they're really kind!
Buy your tickets online in advance and skip the lines at the ticket counter. You also get a discount . You can present the ticket directly on your smartphone.
best aquarium ever. They have the most beautiful penguins exhibition and the central aquarium is designed to be seen from every point. The temporary exhibition is beyond amazing
Loved everything about this aquarium . The main tank is amazing and the sea otters are so cute . Everything is so clean and well maintained.
17e for adult entry. Large aquarium with many spots to sit & enjoy the marine life . Would recommend.
I had so much fun in there, though I reckon €16+ is a bit too much for a single ticket. If you have time to spend in Lisbon , though, go and enjoy it!
Just freakin' amazing! Everything! Awareness for fishing excess. Wonderful aquariums ! Great experience! Don't miss the movie towards the end of the walk
One of the biggest aquariums in Europe . It has a fascinating collection of marine life , including sharks (ofc), otters, penguins and others. Definitely worth it!
It’s a must see if you are in Lisbon ! Suitable for kids, very entertaining also for adults- they have sea otters , seahorses, octopus etc. (ticket price: 15euro normal).
Great place, here you can see a little bit of all the oceans, including fishes , birds and animals which populates them. Pay attention to the Otters, they surely will do something very funny!
Home to the biggest fish tank in Europe with a variety of species you'll probably not find any where else.
Interesting for kids as well as grownups. I loved that Oceanarium is trying to increase awareness about the environmental issues and educate visitors to minimize their negative impact.
Oceanário is outstanding. Both contemporary art installations we had to endure cry for exposing artists to agriculture work. Hope no taxpayer money was spent on them. Don't book the cable car in wind.
Even during the week, it's full of school kids. Despite this, it was a good place to visit. I particularly loved the sea otters and penguins . The huge central aquarium was also impressive.
You will bond with the underwater life creatures and the whole experience is mesmerizing. Not much to say say because you have to see it for yourself. One hour is not enough to walk through .
Stunning! You can sit here for hours and just observe the sharks, mantas, baracudas and other sea species swimming in a giant sea water tank. Zen and a must see!
Quite far from public transportation but definitely worth a visit with fantastic sea & nice life inside.
The most magical place I even visited. I loved it. Specially the submerged forest
Very nice place to go during a rainy day or if you try to escape from the heat in summer. The main aquarium is gigantic!
See everything. The huge ocean exhibit is visible from every floor. Wonderful.
Even if you're not a fan of sea and it's creatures, you still have to visit oceanarium! I was just stuck to the glass watching fishes , Sharks etc etc..
Brilliant! Fantastic exhibits , beautifully displayed creatures. The main aquarium was amazing. Really enjoyed our visit.
Interesting place to visit in Lisbon . Second largest aquarium in the world.
Good place to spend a few hours while in Lisbon , gets very crowded so arrive early. A very reasonably priced cafeteria there
It was a wonderful experience. Great and informative for kids. No matter how interested you are in aquatic life, you would be entertained
Otters and penguins ! Oh, and a huuuge aquarium full of marine life
The huge aquarium and small ones around. Great place to see all the sea/ocean creatures around the world!
Just wow! This place is amazing - the otters are great fun to watch, the sea dragons beautiful and the sunfish quite possibly the ugliest fish you'll ever see!
Amazing place! Must visit in Lisbon . They have two sunfishes as well , that rarely kept in aquariums .
The biggest in Europe with excellent walking paths in Expo as well as FIL and great Restaurants .

The 4m high central tank that is the centre piece that holds the biggest collection of sea creatures and coral
The best and biggest aquarium in Europe . Definitely worth a visit, especially with kids.
Well worth a visit, superb aquarium with huge indoor tank. Try the cable car afterwards
One of the few places unchanged since the world exhibition in 1998, still one of the mandatory tourist attractions in Lisbon .
Fantastic place! I attached a link with a photo of Oceanário de Lisboa on PlazaScience, the social network for people who likes science and photography Read more
Extremely nice and very large aquarium with one very big center one center one. It’s well worth the money.
For families if you go more than once per year it's worth it the annual subscription. Besides you can invite others.
