Come for the beer selection and food, be surprised by the awesome wine prices. $5 for fire road sauvignon blanc and catena malbec . I enjoyed the pretzel sticks and New York Strip and arugula salad .

The brunch food here was great. The French toast was so good. I got the fries and a side is definitely big enough to share! Also the fries are pretty amazing.

Great musky college atmosphere. Untappd venue (great beer selection , lots of dark beer ). Burger , Mac and cheese , grilled cheese , pretzel all great. Big pub menu. Good service .

I haven't had anything off the menu yet that I don't love: burgers , grits , fries , soups ... And try the O'Connor Brewery 's Red Nun, Green Can or Irish Stout beers . All are delicious.

Loved the place... Scotch eggs , antipasti , fish and chips , local beer , cheesecake and a wonderful Port to finish! Everything was awesome from spacious dining area to service and food quality! Go there

Best fries ever. ALL of the O'Connor beers on tap . Everything is made in-house or bought locally. Smoking bar w pool tables and a non-smoking pool room as well . Late night breakfast menu !!!

A staffer goes in the restrooms to make sure they're clean and tidy them up. I can't name one other bar or restaurant in Ghent where I've seen this happen. Thank you, Public House.

Love Public House. I have tried over 10 items at lunch , dinner and brunch . Today,-Fried Green Tomato Sandwich , the PH Burger , the White Collar Mac n Cheese and a Moon Pie !!

I didn't plan to get a beer , but with a name like;"Baby Jesus Chocolate Peanut Butter " I couldn't pass it up. Well worth a try.. I would definitely order it again.

The waitstaff and bartenders are knowledgeable and personable. The food is great and the drinks are a huge step above any other local establishment . Top shelf food and drinks.

Wait staff was attentive and efficient. Pulled-pork BBQ sandwich was pretty damn good, and my wife's Public House burger was spot on. Great local beers , too; I highly recommend the Great Dismal.

Great place but be prepared to wait 10 minutes for a drink, on a Monday... Cool place though.

Our service was fine, but while there we did witness another table get up and leave because their server was ignoring them. Service appears to be luck of the draw, depending on which server you get.
