Sweet place to run, do the loop trail , then end by running up to the falls themselves, very rewarding! Also, skip the parking fee and park at the "Falls Overlook " (see link) Read more

The North Rim and Gorge trails are fantastic. If you are pressed for time and/or don't want to walk far then go for the Gorge trail . The South Rim trail is a bit of a letdown though. Its fairly dull

eat by the little inlet of water a little past where the boats are docked. picnic tables have a great view of northpoint and it's a sweet spot.

The swimming in Cayuga Lake is great. Also, make sure to check out the upper gorge trail -- many people overlook this area.

The South Rim trail is tough, so less sporting types may do the flatter Gorge Trail or simply park near Falls Overlook . – Green Guide Editor

Great simple hiking there and lovely waterfall ❤️

Miguel Gonzalez

Walk up the trail to the falls. And drive up to the overlook above the falls. Beware falling rock.

When you walk the gorge (you are walking the gorge, right?) bring some water shoes and walk in the water all of the way up to the falls!

Don't miss the Upper Falls (west of the main falls). Great views from the old train crossing

Jon

A couple of nice hiking trails . The gorge trail isn't terribly long (2.5 miles or so) but it's a workout.

Miguel Lopez

Beautiful views of the Falls, but the hiking itself is minimal/tame.

Dogs on a leash are welcome on on the trails ! Park at the overlook, then walk down the ridge to the Falls trail - great way to spend a couple hours with the dogs!
