Since Compass Point closed for renovations (Dec 2014), more stalls have opened up in this Kopitiam, so business is brisk. Check out the new stalls like BKK Mookata, Chicky Fun & Savis.
The sliced fish kway teow soup from Hwee Sao Fish Soup & Congee stall is great for its kway teow is smooth & the fish is fresh in tasty soup !
So far I had tried all the food in this stall and I find it really nice. Maybe it suit my taste. The soup base for the prawn and lor mee got standard.
Try the new Savis at #01-12. Western food with a healthy twist. Set meal from $6.80
lok lok, spinach fish soup , oyster omelette , kway chup, kopitiam card with discount
(美味肉脞鱼圆面)Bak chor mee here is comparable to bedok 85. Store is located at the outer stretch of the kopitiam just near the posb teller.
Machines to top up Kopitiam cards are at centre section, near exit aisle.
Fitra Chicken Rice stall has the best chicken rice in Singapore. Not even exaggerating.
There's a new stall which selling prawn noodle and lor mee . It's cheap and highly recommend. Taste is good.
Carpark exit only can use Kopitiam Card instead of usual cashcard. What if a driver doesn't have Kopitiam Card, then won't it jam up curvy slope 2 way traffic at this carpark exit during busy day time
Carpark entrance curve up-slope quite sianz as sharing 2-way direction with opposite direction car eating into lane. Lift from 2nd floor carpark to ground floor is rather Dirty and a bit foul smell.
The non-aircon 24hours brightly-lit food court (modern hawker centre wannabe) has got quite good variety of food choices even at 11pm, BUT the place feels rather Dirty .
Please don’t smoke inside, government dogs everywhere in disguise.
loves the fried kway teow and fried rice at Lai Heng , the $8 tom yum soup (no prawns though...lots of fish slices ), penang rojak , and the claypot spicy chicken :3
Mix vege (ca fan) is e most variety n best which is cheapest among chinese stall n nearby to most people!
Fried kway teow , oyster egg , carrot cake must try
Oh and dont forget d kway chap store also..its the best kway chap i ever had since i used not to like kway chap
Won't dare to bring tourist friend here at late night , it shows the rather dirty side of an eatery in Singapore that is not common in many other hawker centres ????
