Caesar salad made table side. Steaks are perfection. Sides are amazing! Cannot beat the vintage glamour. It's like stepping into a classic tvland sitcom set. Think "I dream of Jeanie" or "Bewitched"
Opened in 1958 in a strip mall . Old school and classic, with red leather booths , waiters in tuxedos , flaming banana foster prepared table side and a bar added in the ‘70s.
This place is truly amazing. Classy staff , excellent food and they play the best music !Definitely going to be one of my "regular" places when in Las Vegas from now on!
There's probably more Vegas history here than anywhere else in town . Also, the chicken parm rocks.
Sinatra always ordered clams casino , NY strip steak , bananas foster and three fingers of Jack Daniels on the rocks. Both he and Dean Martin had regular booths that are still dedicated as such today.
Elvis Presley, Muhammad Ali, Nat King Cole, Natalie Wood, Joe DiMaggio and the Rat Pack were regular customers. This is one of very few still surviving Vegas restaurants that Frank Sinatra frequented.
Sinatra loved the presentation of the bananas foster so much that he was known to serenade tables that ordered it.
Had the Diamond Lil cut prime rib and it’s a winner! Great hunk of fine beef ! Solid wedge salad . Service great. Perfect old school steakhouse should be rated higher!
Escargots for an opener…Three different cuts of prime rib … Caesar salad , Dover sole and Bananas Foster served table side. Impeccable service in a red leather dining room from another era.
The filet mignon and prime rib is awesome. The star is their service staff . Five star service. A "Must" visit for a great time.
Amazing old school steak place with a long history with the Rat Pack and Wise Guys. Try the bone-in prime rib .
Very yummy. Ala cartel steak cost $68.0 no drink, side or anything so be prepared to spend the $&&$&
Signature dish - 20oz bone-in ribeye . Superb. Get the Elvis booth if you can. This place has great food and stories to tell - what more do you want?
Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and the Rat Pack tore through T-bones, shrimp scampi and Caesar salads prepared tableside at the Golden Steer Steak House in Las Vegas.
A great step back in time to the old rat pack days of Vegas. Great food and great service made for a wonderful experience.
All the steaks , one of the guys has been there for 40 years. Caesar salad made at the table. Dine where the rat pack hung out.
The Caesar salad is incredible. Loved the ambience and the history
Vintage Vegas steakhouse , if you are into nastaga this place is for you. Best things here are the Caesar salad and bananas foster both made table side. Steaks are just OK, service just ok.
Caesar salad & prime rib are hands down the best I've ever had.
Old school restaurant . Has live music
For the "True Vegas" experience, you can't go wrong at the Golden Steer. Excellent dining and superb service.
Classic Vegas. Great food and service.
One of Vegas best restaurants , history, great service, lots of ambiance
Longhorn (Special New York Cut) Extra Thick 24oz* w/ Twice Baked Potato
Over its 54 years, the city 's oldest steak house has mastered the classics served in a leather-upholstered milieu virtually frozen in time since the Rat Pack era. Read more
Hugely disappointed. Literally came to town ONLY for dinner here and it used to be my favorite place. Not being seated until the whole party arrives is the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of.
The ambience is good and the steaks are great!
Awesome place. Fernando is so funny . Share the small prime rib . So big. Get old school place!
Have them show you the Sammy Davis booth , one of the few places he could go to in the 50s.
What’s good•. French onion soup , surf and turf to start
Sides disappointing besides the Fries . Steaks were excellent.
Great place to "feel" old Las Vegas! Food is average. Ambience & history make it worth the price.
Great food and service from the seat steakhouse in town
Very good steakhouse with great service!
Table side Caesar salad and bananas foster are ol ' skool fabulous. If the walls could talk.....
Our waiter , Fernando, was hilarious! The hostess , Stephanie was equally hilarious! Food was PHENOMENAL!!!! I give them 5 stars!!!!
Fantastic steakhouse great prime rib
I enjoyed the Seafood Sampler Appetizer.
Amazing service and food. Great atmosphere too.
The steaks and sides are amazing. Come here instead of the big hotel steak houses . Trust.
Perfect for Bachelor party dinners . They have a back private room that fits 15.
Pescetarian? Just get the Caesar Salad .
I am not sure who my waiter is because they seem to be rotating.
Best dinner and service in Vegas!
If it's good enough for Frank and Dean...
One of the oldest steak houses in Vegas!
Ask for Joe!!!
Was very disappointed! Poor service from wait staff , below par food and presentation. Felt Rushed and unwelcome. Will send my friends to Hugo Celler.
The steaks are awesome. And the prices are amazingly low. - Emperor Constantin
Opened in 1955, western decor, not fancy but good food. Steaks and prime rib are really good, so are the burgers. About 15 mins from the Strip, worth it if you are looking for an old west experience - Brad Hager
Best steak this side of town! Absolutely everything here is marvelous. - Vick Roy
Love love love Fremont st! The entire thing is a show. The light show is amazing and all the bands that were playing were amazing. We had a blast. - Jessica Maynard
Amazing place ! Staff was very friendly and quick on the drinks as long as you are playing . My new favorite place - Frank Loor
Love this place!! The people are so nice, and very helpful! Spotless clean too!! - Donna Warfield
