I hide out under the Aurora Bridge, posing for pictures and eating car parts.
Fremont Way N (under Aurora Bridge) Seattle , WA 98103 United States
I doubt I'll ever see a neighborhood sculpture of a troll under a bridge again. People are pretty good about taking turns with photo ops here. Plenty of parking .
Legend has it, this troll eats children for breakfast , lunch , and dinner . A little off the beaten path in quirky Fremont, it is definitely an interesting art piece worth seeing while visiting Seattle.
If you head south from the troll on Troll Ave, at the corner of N 35th St on the left-hand side, you'll find the 3 Billy Goats Gruff .
Fun landmark to see and climb . You can even do a quick drive by.
If you come by late at night make sure to keep quiet so you don't wake the neighbors. They are not as fun as the Troll !
Picture spot! Hard to find but when you do, be amazed at his stature.
Great public art . Check out where the VW Bug is from. 🚗
Seriously such a cool little landmark
Parking is tough due to the small narrow streets but worth the visit when under the bridge
We pulled up on the loading parking zone which is a 3 minute max. We ran out got a picture looked around than ran back to the car.
Did you know? The idea of a troll living under a bridge , preying on those who cross it comes from an old Scandinavian folk tale, “The Three Billy Goats Gruff .” Read more
Fewer Trollsters early mornings- more alone time with The Man....
Ever been under the north end of the Aurora Bridge ? Check it out and say hi to the 18 ft, 13,000 lb Fremont Troll . (We think he’s crushing that car to show what he thinks about car ownership.)
A must see in Seattle. Great picture opportunity!
You can climb it!
Come early for photos! Otherwise it gets crowded af.
One of the best photo ops in the city . Bring friends!
This is a must see tourist spot! Our troll is friendly an loves taking pictures! Just ask nicely. ;)
Sort of out of the way, but it’s kind of cool. Hard to get a picture without a ton of people there.
You know the troll that eats the billy goats ? Well , he lives under the Fremont bridge . And he's pretty big.
Pretty cool to check out if you have nothing better to do. Older kids who aren't scared will love to climb up onto the troll . Not much to it, really just an attraction to see to say you saw it.
Fewer Trollsters early mornings- more alone time with the The Man....
Must see street artwork.
Fun fact: the VW bug is white (not red like they show in “10 Things I Hate About You”)
Great street art . Don't go at night, though.
Fun tourist spot... Just beware that the area smells... Like urine... But for a quick pic, is fun to see!
Parking is rough on nice days. Be ready to walk
Pretty cool. You should check it out.
Nice landmark . Pretty crowded when I was there.
Not so awesome as most of people picture it, but it's a thing to see if you are near.
Climb up to the bridge and take the sidewalk, cool water view
While the idea is very cool, the execution left me wanting more. If you plan on going to Fremont check it out, otherwise don't go out of your way. Negative points for the graffiti .
Go in the evening. Less people to get a better photo!
A must stop under this bridge for any visitor.
Get angry at everyone else who wont let others take pictures!
Some loser tagged the troll 's fingers. Other than that, it's the same old troll .
Interesting stop and photo opp
Fun community art
Leave an offering for the troll - it brings good luck
One of the weirdest landmarks in Seattle
So cool! Definitely a must see!
A must-visit for all new comers
Climb the troll !
Come at night!
A fun place to click pics...
Hard to find parking and got a little lost. Goggle maps doesnt direct you to under the bridge .
Have your picture taken next to this piece of "art " underneath the Highway 99 Bridge
Yes, that's a real VW bug the troll is holding - and check out the Cali plate!
Now *that's* a superschnoz.
