I think the concept behind the genius bar is fine until something ACTUALLY needs fixing. Mac has lost its stronghold on Pro users and it is going to have to work hard to reclaim our interest...

Some staff don’t know what they are doing. I was in the shop waiting for the genius bar and they told me to just wait but didn’t even check me in that I was actually in the shop.

Do you self a favour, don't drop any devices for repairing, you will understand what I mean when it doesn't come back on time. store manager will always be busy.

Book an appointment and wait in a queue while half a dozen iHipsters stand at the door to welcome new people to the queue. Frustrating .

Help save the environment - if paying via Credit, simply ask for your receipt to be emailed to you instead of printed out.

If you buy a new Mac they can recycle your old computer (even a non-Mac!)

Poor service. Take this - you can't walk in and drop your laptop to be fixed. You have to make an appointment so 'a Genius' can take a look at it and then send it off.

The worst Apple store I have ever been to. When I came to ask an employee in earphones section if they have 2nd generation AirPods and asked the price, she just barked on me. Worst experience

Not to mention that I find the fact that Next Byte are 8000 times more helpful. Go to a Mac Reseller, save yourself the hassle of them not even being able to back up a hard drive.
