Great food and drinks. The view is amazing. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. This will be a great place for a date night with my wife next time we're in town .

had crab cakes , salmon , and apple pie . All were just average. Go for the ambiance. The outdoor deck overlooks the Pacific Ocean. Reserve a cabana or just chill on their beds. Very sexy!

Went there for Easter. Simply it is a great place. Very good and high quality food. Wine is relatively cheap . Try the rose . And of course the view is amazing.

Took my octogenarian mom and aunt to a long lunch there this week. The service, food and my bloody mary were wonderful. The view - incomparable. Perfect for us kids of all ages.

Where brit brit and mel gibson get into trouble, this is also a really cute and fun spot when you don't feel like going out to Hollywood on Friday or Saturday nights.

We had lunch at the Moonshadow. The food was wonderful (go for the tuna tatar) and the staff , contrary to other comments, was very friendly and professional. We watched dolphins while eating!

The Burrata and Heirloom tomatoes are awesome, as is the Pumpkin tortellini with sage/butter sauce.

The deck is nice (and usually packed). Grab a seat on the rail behind the bar (outside)for a more intimate sea view .

Order the filet mignon its so tender and juicy. its drizzled with a slightly sweet red wine reduction sauce plated on top of Yukon gold mashed potatoes .

This is my favorite lunch venue. Malibu is beautiful . Sitting by the window watching the surf is exquisite .

Sit outside if you can, tuna sashimi , oysters , miso black cod (amazing) and bouillabaisse all well worth trying....

Both the exterior and interior need renovation asap! Cant beat Nobu in this case! Had cod and was ok!

when it's warm out, Moonshadows has a DJ on the outside deck on Saturdays and Sundays...take a date, go with friends, everyone shares the beds and the crowd is usually super friendly ...if not, buy you

The Chilean Sea-Bass isn't always on the the menu, however if you ask your server they may just be able to make something happen! #sweetpotatosauce

I've been here 4 times and each time, the view is wonderful, the service is great, but the food is absolutely horrendous. I come back hoping for a change, but sadly it hasn't.

Opened 1972. Pricey ocean front restaurant . Its exterior remains the same, but its interior was remodeled in 2012.

Reasonably priced for Malibu and stunning ocean views . Corner table is lovely.

Reserve FAR ahead for weekend brunch , worth it for the view
