Silver Beach is a beach Saint Joseph located in United States.
10 Broad St (at Lake St) Saint Joseph , MI 49085 United States
The beach is very nice. Walking up the bluff to shop is a good way to fill a day, plus there is good food. There are a few picnic tables and grill if you want to cool burgers or dogs.
Probably the best beach that is so close to Chicago. Kids will love the huge whirlpool fountains that shoot jets of water 40 feet high just off the beach .
If you get here very early ala 7/8am...you are able to park for free. That is per a park worker. Also the $8 parking is worth it as it is an all day pass come and go as much as you need.
Great family beach . Kids love all of the activities. People need to stop littering their cigarettes though.
Really beautiful beach right near the town . Even when it is busy, there is typically enough space to fit everyone. There are also nice public restrooms and restaurants close to the beach .
Help keep the beach clean by picking up your trash. Too much trash on the beach . Pick up a few extra pieces on your way back to your car and keep the beach looking beautiful for your next visit.
Parking can be tough, but what a great public beach . Great for kids with a playground right there on the beach .
Go to the far side away from the parking lot ...it's less crowded there. Great place to take pics!
clean , great bicycle paths, beautiful place for anyone of any age.
My mom grew up here and said there used to be an awesome carnival here back in the 1940's. Then in the 60's the carnival shut down and the beach got run down and wasn't very safe.
The sand here is very good sand for constructing castles
Beautiful beach ! Nice and clean !
Cute beach town , very relaxing, catch sunset
Best family beach in SW MI. steps away from sprinkler park , carousel & silver beach pizza .
(Nothing Greek about it, but )the garlic Greek is awesome
Beautiful Lake Michigan beach . Get there early if you want a picnic table . Great playground for the young kids, a lot of volleyball courts !
Awesome place. Not too crowded .
The views from the top.
Pain to get to and very crowded
Scenic view
Don't text while walking on the pier or you might fall in!
Only bad thing is, you have to sit with your back to the water to get the sun from the east. No biggy though. Still awesome
Walking the pier is no longer a joy. Overrun with punks who use foul language and have no respect for others. Sad state when you can't even have a family night out without others ruining it.
As usual a great place for pizza .
The new 2nd floor is out of place.a Poorly mismatched finishes and furniture , with no concept, it feels sterile.
St. Joe is not St. Joe without Silver Beach :)
Saturday is very busy!
Nice beach and downtown shops.
First time here. Really neat!
Buy a seasonal parking pass!
She must think I'm crazy. I kinda think I like her.. I kinda think I do.
Walk across the sand during a quiet day and listen to it “sing.”
Great Sunset views !
Build a sandcastle!
God is here! Speechless.
Very cold and snowy right now
Horrible seevice! They treat you bery harsh at the entrance
Sunset is at 8:40 tonight. It ought to be beautiful!
Amazing view and great place to walk down the opposite side of the pier. - Kyle Brooks
Cheaper parking and less crowded than silver lake beach. The bathrooms are much cleaner too! New favorite beach in town. - Jen Zmrhal
Best pizza ever, no matter what u order. Nice cold beers. High recommend - Gingy T
Huge selection of beers on tap and bottles. Food is also awesome. - James Roeder
