James Joyce Tower & Museum

The James Joyce Tower was one of a series of Martello towers built to withstand an invasion by Napoleon and now holds a museum devoted to the life and works of James Joyce, who made the tower the setting for the first chapter of his masterpiece, Ulysses.

Small museum , there is possible to go to the top of the tower, to see beautiful seascape. Place where "Ulisses" setting starts. Free admission

The tower is now open everyday from 10 to 16. Admission is free. Don't forget to go to the very top.
