The Janiculum is one of the best locations in Rome for a breathtaking view of the innumerable domes and bell towers that pierce the skyline of the multi-hued architectural museum .

Best views of the city ! From the Vatican take the 115 bus up the hill or walk up from Trestevere and at the top make a right into the park . Belissimo!

The hill that affords the best view of Rome !At noon, the quiet is momentarily broken by the single shot of a cannon, to mark the exact time , a tradition that dates back to the 19th century.

I didn't intend to walk here but I did somehow just by walking towards higher ground and this was the beautiful scenic view

Not worth the walk up the hill

La bombarda occupa il primo fotogramma del film . Scuote il pubblico con l'esplosione alla quale segue l'applauso dei turisti in un gioco tra sacro e profano spesso ricorrente ne "La Grande Bellezza".

Visita obligatoria para quien venga a Roma. Disfruta de vistas panorámicas de la ciudad de Roma que quitan el aliento. Muy recomendable la cita del cañón militar (todos los días a las 12:00h).

Arrivarono al Gianicolo . Il cielo era sereno e l’aria fresca. Si sedettero sul muretto che affaccia alla città , proprio sopra il punto dove ogni giorno, alla mezza, tuona il cannone.

Il più classico dei panorami di Roma , nei giorni limpidi si riescono a vedere i Castelli Romani e l'appennino

Netter Platz mit Aussicht (leider von einigen Bäumen z.T. verdeckt). sehr touristisch. Viel schöner & romantischer (-> mit vielen Brautpaaren) ist die Aussicht beim nahen Brunnen "dell'Acqua Paola".

D'ici, vous verrez un panorama sur toute la ville de Rome! Prenez le bus 115 ou 870 pour rejoindre la Terrasse du Janicule.
