Generation Records

Decent record shop . Its strength is in punk/metal, but carries most genres. Hosts shows occasionally (!!) and even sells shirts . Prices are pretty decent. Staff is low-key but knowledgable .

The have everything from vinyl to tapes and CDs. Also, good variety on books and tee shirts . Staff is really good and love what they do.

This has become my favorite record store in NYC. Can’t beat the punk rock selection or the service. Love this place.

Similar lineup as Bleecker Street Records, as in punk rock and metal. Can't find it one place, try the other.

The downstairs boasts an amazing collection of rock records. Not to be missed, esp because of the sensible pricing .

Definitely a great store with a broad selection of vinyls ... but unfortunately notbso much in line with my music taste ;-)
