Misquamicut Beach

A beautiful beach and a popular one too! Great sand, nice swells...my only complaint is the strip of gravel hidden in the waves that makes getting in and out of the ocean a little painful hahaha

Best beach ever. After I have tried most of the beach in Rhode Island . Misquamitic beach is the best beach ever. Clean water, huge waves and beautiful sand and awful lifeguards . Love this place.

This feels like a huge beach to me. I go in the evening so I don't have to pay for parking , usually after 4:00pm is good. Good waves good sunsets .

Be sure to get a spot early. Beach was packed by 9:00. And make it a point to stop by Paddy's ;)

Every September, on the last day or fall fest, is the surftown half marathon & 5k. One of the best course in all of New England. Is run, you have to do this race.

It's 3 quarters for a 3-minute hot shower . Feels nice to get the salt and sand out of your hair!

Great Beach to take the family, plenty of great food lodging and entertainment.

OK. No kites, footballs , frisbees , or digging in the sand for you or your children. If you are good with that...then it's an excellent beach for swimming and sun.

don't give up on finding parking cheaper than $20. it can be done.

Get there early because the beach gets packed quick!!!! 8:00 am is a good time to be arriving. Your better off bringing your own food because the snack bar is expensive .

For the love of God; if the Lifeguards tell you to do something or stop what you're doing; LISTEN TO THEM!!

Water has LOTS of seaweed . Sand in water is extremely rocky and pebbly and hurts feet. Other than that good beach ...

If you buy Lifeguard clothing and you're not a Lifeguard or don't work here. The Lifeguard 's will hate you and let you drown.

Don't let your 4 year old on swings because they break mid swing ! Besides that great day!

Gorgeous clean beach . $20 to park .

Parking is $10 for Rhode Island residents.

If buying food, avoid the undercooked (if even cooked) pretzels ! Italian ice and soft serve are quite nice though not a meal
