Go at sunset
This is a very narrow beach . For more fun, check a tide table and come at low tide-- then you can walk north for miles along the water.
Beautiful view of the waterfront and Ferry Terminal.
Walk the path to the point and plunk your butt on a rock. Great place to watch the ferry arrive/depart :)
Great place to wait while train is tuning over 1 hour behind
Great place to sit and relax. Or go scuba diving !

very pleasant place to watch beautiful sunset ( if there is one!!!) for a walk, to watch scuba divers, and of course dinning Anthony's my favorite ! - Th_Aviator
It's always chilly here, and the mosquitos from the wetlands come around at sunset. Be prepared. - Lyndsey L
Remember this is a marine sanctuary. Dogs are not allowed and you can't take things from the beach; shells, rocks, etc. - Aaron Johnson
The lamb burger is outrageously good. I had mine medium rare and it was perfectly pink and juicy. The sweet potato fries come with poblano aioli and feta cheese sprinkles: yeah, baby. - Carla Reich
Had a great Americano and a scoop of sorbet on a cone. Both made me happy. Liked the atmosphere and the barista was super friendly. :) - Max Morley
