Historic Bethabara Park

First Moravian settlement before moving to Salem. Awesome park and historic buildings , great for a picnic or stroll.

So much history! Even though it was empty, we were able to stroll through the village and read the descriptive placards at each site. By far, my most favorite area was the medicine garden !

I actually found another grave yard not so well marked but if you cover all acres you will find a grave yard by the name, "strangers graveyard" and a head stone from the 1700's will be found. Jaw drop

Try walking around God's Acre to find the oldest grave marker. (Hint: it is at least as old as 1844.)

Go to Bethabara Park and make a list of all the old buildings here!
