once, a beautiful travertine place, is now getting slowly destroyed by lines of tourist and insufficient restrictions to protect this place more. sad to say almost all beautiful travertines are gone.

Simply unique!! The best moment to visit it is in the early morning,when it is not crowded nor hot yet. Moreover, you will avoid a very long queue in the sun...

Hierapolis-Pamukkale -it is the most beautiful place in the world that I have never seen. I think that every human should visit it.

As of august 2013, the best place to enjoy Pamukkale scenery is behind the medieval castle . Be at the site's entrance at the opening (8am), then you'll avoid tourist groups and tour

The place is beautiful but it's over rated. Definitely is not exactly like the pictures, some of the pool are empty. From Istanbul takes 1.2h plain and 45 mins ride to get here.
