If u come alone to saravana bhavan or any s.indian place, be ready to eat fast, bcoz they give priority to family. Unless ofcourse u r white or arab, then u can eat one dosa for 3 hrs. No problem.
This place is a very good place.when I was pregnant I was madly inloved with their ghee roast and Fascinated with their tasty tea but served the way they served their coffee . Karama branch is good
Best place for all types of south indian food .n Filter coffee .Good on pocket. Staff however will be in more hurry to get ur order as well as the bill, however food delivery time is not apt.
I had Onion Uthappam and dont like it. Breakfast for 2 costs us AED28.50. Small joints serve better Uthappam and Sambar and theyre way cheaper. Not coming again.
We liked their dosa , it was nearly as good, as at their other place in Delhi we've been to last year.
if you are really very hungry and looking for something heavy than you should try special thali ,min thali , light snacks like masala uttappam and stuffed parathas , dont forget karak tea to make it a c
Each dish is enough for one person. Ignore the chinese menu . I recommed ordering either Masala Dosa , Parota, or Mixed Veg Parota. For drinks: Mango Lassi or Karak tea rocks! Enjoy :-)
This place is a hit and a miss. Somethings are really good. Some things below average. Traditional dosa , idli, vada etc is worth it.
Have been here the lamcy branch but I will recommend you to go thE karama branch they will served fresh one their. I waS just disaPpointed when I went in lamcy branch when they gave me a cold ghee roa
Try their pongal-vada for bfast and end it with filter coffee . Divine.
Try Porata Korma .. One of the few sinful dishes here. And top it up with Filter Coffee .
Nice veggie food and very cheap
Dosa was bleh, coffee was amazing. Will try the much praised thali next time.
Good food, not fancy dining but overall clean and good.

Yummy masala dosa and delicious filter coffee
Try the thali set..soo good :)
After reading so many good reviews here, I decided to give it a go. I have always loved Indian food but this was nothing compared to my any of my bad experiences. Worst service & bad food.
Good food ...,stick to Indian and great prices with awesome service .
Best Thali in town and don't forget to try the coffee !!
Order for an idli first and then the dosa or uthapam. Cos the idly is always ready and will come in 2 minutes. Rest will take some time.
You have to try the special Tea & Coffee . Awesome.
Comfort food from the south of India. Ignore the Chinese, stick to the traditional fares.
Ghee Masala Dosa & Mango Lasi 😋👍
lovely place to have pure veg.food..
One if the best vegetarian restaurant in dubai.
Special briyani is a must try!
Try the veg Thaali (which u get on top) - pretty awesome for a meal :)
Best filter coffee in town
Authentic South Indian !
Good food in Karama
Try the Ghee Masala Roast w/t filter coffee
Food is kinda tasteless. Had ordered for plain dosas , vadai and adharasam. Could give it all a pass.
Lets go veg for a change!!!
The filter coffee is to die for.
Try the curd rice . Not bad
I like the sambar idly.
Awesome filter coffee
How can u be here and not have the filter coffee ?
