The whole experience was incredible. The cocktails were perfectly crafted. I can’t recommended the Burratina Pugliese highly enough and the Ricotta & Egg Raviolo that has a poached egg inside.
I tend not to like "pretty food" places but this place changed my mind. The experience starts the second you walk. Everything we had was great. The staff was great too. This is a must try.... So go!!
You can't go wrong at Osteria Mozza. It's totally delicious–the pizza , pastas and entrees are all yummy. And there's a mozzarella bar that serves fresh cheese . The mint pesto dish is AMAZING. (friend)
One of LA's best Italians. Try Mozarrella sampler to start, a stuffed pasta for primi and outstanding beef tagliotti for segundi. If you only order a primi, beware that portions are small. Good wines .
Spensive but so good. charcuterie has amazing variety and is substantial. The squid ink was good (uni was fishy) and so was the ricotta egg raviolo . Sit at the mozzarella bar to see the action.
Very expensive but reflected in the quality. Incredible array of mozzarella , burrata and ricotta from the mozzarella bar , and I had a delicious fiery cacio e pepe . Service was excellent.
If you’re feeling pasta , there’s calf’s brain ravioli , but safer options exist, too, such as duck ragu over gnocchi . Round out your meal with a porcini-encrusted rib eye and call it a night. Read more
Yes to the mozzarella and burrata selection. Pasta … I had better, to be honest. Even if the patio is charming, it’s worth seating at the mozzarella bar and have a degustation menu .
Service was fantastic and the food was excellent. Grilled octopus was my favorite. The burrata sampler was also very good. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the raviolo.
Don't miss the bufala mozzarella draped with spectacular anchovy with Meyer lemon and an herb salad . Nancy Silverton makes a great a caprese with bufala , cherry tomatoes and basil .
The dishes here are somewhat more polished than those at the adjacent pizzeria ,. Sample fare: fresh ricotta and egg raviolo with browned butter , and beef brasato with horseradish gremolata. Read more

Beautiful place, the squid ink pasta is one of my favorites pastas ever. Great drinks, classy place
Imagine a great sushi chef who has chosen to work with mozzarella instead of fish . Really, you have never tasted such cheese . Read more
Obviously their food is unique and exquisite, but try one of their desserts - GEEBUS! Never had anything like their Olive Oil Gelato w/Rosemary Brittle, and never will again. Book a month in advance.
Don’t come here looking for family-style Italian. This is a different beast conceived by power trio Mario Batali , Joe Bastianich, and Los Angeles’ queen of pastry , Nancy Silverton . Read more
Burrata with bacon and tagliatelle with ox tail ragu were both quite nice!
Osteria Mozza, a sleek, bustling restaurant in the same building as Pizzeria Mozza, is pretty extraordinary now, but what is even more exciting is the restaurant it will evolve into in several years!
I came in a group, we've ordered many different dishes and everything was absolutely uniquely fantastic. A must go!
Kathy Griffin says the "panini " is very good, Although I have yet to see a single panini on the menu, the food that they actually DO offer is among the most extraordinary in LA. Bliss...
Its just as great as the branch in singapore! Burrata , goat cheese ravioli and torta della nonna... Oh my oh my :)
Great: Everything! Especially great when you sit at the food bar !
Free glass of Prosecco with dinner is a nice touch. The Orecchietti w/sausage and swiss chard is absolutely fantastic. For the main course, try the "Brasato al Barolo" braised beef short rib .
Happiest place on earth. Everything is worth trying and lovely, don't miss out on the calf's brain ravioli with sage and lemon and the porcini rubbed rib eye .
Burrata and Bacon is incredible. Lady next to me suggested the figgs too. Staff super friendly . Am I in a movie ?
Mozza is like dining in the wine cavern of an old Italian villa . The food and the staff are on par with any highly rated Zagat resto. Their Italian wine list is superb - order a bottle.
Such an amazing restaurant- do not leave without trying the burrata - it was amazing. The qual was also delicious.
Good starters, incredible mozzarella , but the pasta is from another world
If you are feeling adventurous, try the squid ink pasta . The flavor was well balanced between sweet, salty, and spicy .
Pizza's nice, and all, but frankly it's the cheese-centric appetizers -- the burratas , buffalas, etc. --- that are downright amazing. Don't miss out.
Lamb is excellent, and the prosciutto with melon is on par with Madeo's prosciutto with burratta. Delish!
Amazing Italian food . The polenta and fried potatoes were amazing.
Delicious, classic Italian. Has the charcuterie plate , the burrata with bacon and the orechiette.
Amazing food! Definitely try to make it for the tasting menu at the bar on week nights.
Like price gouging? This is your restaurant . Point out the egregiousness of said price gouging for a bonus of managerial pomposity!
Oh yeah, get that olive oil cake . You will not be disappointed.
The whole menu is great but try the squash blossom pizza at mozza pizza and sit at the mozzarella bar at Osteria.
Excellent pairing of food and wine , thank you for the recommendation! Amazing food!
Amazing meal. Don’t skip burrata , egg ravioli , orecchiette , or bombolini. Wow.
The beef was just outstanding, crispy outside and perfectly medium rare inside. Awesome goat cheese ravioli . Really good service !
Lovely food order everything
I'm not a huge fan of cheese compared to most, but the burrata here is amazing - light fluffy clouds of cheese heaven!
If you're lactose intolerant, fuhgeddaboutit! Nancy Silverton and Mario Batali 's high-end eatery serves over 15 kinds of mozzarella . Want casual ? Check out the pizzeria next door, open 'til midnight.
Despite more refined food than its pizzeria sister-restaurant, this venue is more boisterous -loud guests & louder music - classic Mario Batali . Try the mozzarella tasting plate at the mozzarella bar !
Excellent pasta and drinks ???? ???? sit at the bar !
Orecchiette is savory goodness
Start with the mozzarella bar . Try the Burrata with Bacon and Stracchino. Smoked perfection.
The green eggs during breakfast/brunch are a must! - Nancy Feng
Amazing Southern Italian great service and priced well. Highly recommend and look for it coming soon in Downtown 3rd and Spring - Leonesco Holtz Jr
Continually advancing their in-house charcuterie, becoming more and more scrumptious each visit, the chef's selection salumi platter is fabulous to share. - Doug de Wet
My favorites are the margarita and mushroom pizza's. SO SO good! - Natalie Jaeger
Fish or Steak you can't go wrong either way. On the meat side I recommend the Pork Chop, Short Rips, & the cured meats. - Ricky Sherrill
Beautiful Art Deco theater for touring shows. The balcony seats are pretty far away, but it’s still great. The lobby is spacious and very cool. - eric bornemann
