One of the best pubs in Sheffield . Independent alternative vibe. Wide selection of real ale , including from the local Blue Bee Brewery . And the food is excellent. The ideal pre-gig hostelry.

Very good pub indeed. We had curry+cheese+chips, veggie pie and their top slutty rutty butty . Highly recommended if visiting Sheffield for a couple of days.Don't forget to ask for Sunday special dish

Great choice of beer . Alternative/quirky pub . Try to get here every time we visit Sheffield. Always have some interesting high abv beers among the 12 craft ales and have 7 handpumps of real ale

A good selection of beer although the offerings on keg can be a tad expensive . The food however is incredible and very reasonably priced with loads of vegetarian and vegan options available.

This places looks unsuspecting from the outside but make sure you give this place a visit! Very traditional with plenty of free board games to play. Also great Ales

There's a very good selection of beer and the food is delicious, with friendly staff and a warm atmosphere. Well worth popping in if you're nearby!

The food and Ale is to die for. Especially the sticky treacle toffee pudding and a pint of Captain Morgan's Revenge.

The food is amazing! Lots of interesting beer choices too.

Plus points: friendly pub with good selection of ales . Minus: at least on this occasion, the "vegan curry " seemed to have originally been a ratatouille with added chili powder . Underwhelming.

Be careful if you use the right-hand urinal. It don't drain fast enough to cope with flushing and weeing at once. Otherwise this is a top pub .

Holy fried Halloumi burger , Batman. Vegetarians , you don't want to miss this perfect alternative to the classic pub burger . A+.

Try the Sports Bacon Sandwich - Home cures bacon , roasted mushroom , Rico's ketchup between slices of homemade bread . Awesomely delicious.

One of the best pubs in Sheffield , try any beer by Magic Rock or Dark Star breweries and a Bhaji Butty , amazing!

Lovely cosy atmosphere . Theres a jukebox which is a plus too.

Top Pub , do some great ciders too. The must try "Slutty Rutty Butty " is the speciality of the house :-)

Pricing on some of the keg beer here is getting ridiculous, they had Magic Rock Un-Human Cannonball which is amazing but over £6 a half for an 11% beer is VERY London, not Sheffield. Sort it out!
