Weston Park Museum

Take the kids and find the Polar Bear , marvel at the Woolly Rhino and have a look at the paintings of Sheffield before it was the sprawling city it is today.

This needs to just come to terms with the fact that it is a children's museum . An excellent children's museum , but a letdown for adults coming in.

Great award winning grotto in December. No booking and good presents.

Visit to learn about the story of Sheffield (watching the Full Monty does not get you off the hook).

There's ducks in the lake in the park so don't forget your bread crusts

Nice coffee area - you can sit outside if it's sunny. Plus, you can get any hot drink for just £1 after 14:30 on weekdays!

They have a great drop in session for younger children called Little exploreres art time, only £1.50 per participant!

You can find many interesting exhibitions whenever you visit here !

Artifacts from China runs through until 9/4/12. Definitely worth a visit.
