Old Town Alexandria

Love it here, so much to do! Good eats and tons of neat shops. Take a stroll on the Mount Vernon Trail , or rent a bike and ride into DC.

If you like variety then old town is definitely the best place to go. Summer time is amazing because of the waterfront and the restaurants located on the waterfront provide a beautiful experience.

Great area, lots of shopping and food options! Many historical activities and sights and every corner of the neighborhood has lots of hidden gems ! Go on a tour , if you have the time!

From the National Memorial to Torpedo Factory Art Center, King Street offers an evocative stroll through history. Yearly art festivals , house tours and annual parades bring that history to life.

Move a tiny bit off the busiest areas & you can almost always find free parking . Sometimes it's just across the street.

Historic Old Town Alexandria is filled with tons of restaurants , history, boutiques , and recently added a few chains stores like H&M, Anthropologie, Lulu Lemon , and Francesca's.

This is my favorite tourist attraction when I come to Virginia! Beautiful neighborhood , history everywhere, great shops, great restaurants and friendly people. :)

Make sure to get some milk from the farmers market . They have a chocolate milk infused with coffee that is amazing

Went to La Tasca restaurant in old town alexandria. Nice atmosphere and delicious drinks! Just wasn't impressed with the paella .

I live here! I love it here! It's always beautiful and there's always so much going on!

Take the free tour of colonial Christ Church . Both George Washington and Robert E Lee worshipped at this beautiful building and grounds.

Take the trolley! Walk down to the river and take the trolley back or visa versa.

This area is so beautiful, I would recomend you stop by and walk the streets. Everyone is so friendly .

Shopping and great restaurants . Homes in the area are beautiful. Take the a ghost tour !

If you can't find street parking the Hilton has a garage that's $14 all day parking . Use it.

Nice walk around the river south of Old Town to the Mount Vernon trail .

One of the best areas for people watching , especially during weekends.

The cupcakes at Lavender Moon are really good! No line like at DC Cupcakes ! They also use organic/local ingredients when possible.

Don't just walk King Street , there are lots of places and points of interest within a few blocks of downtown.

See the first block near Union street. Cobblestone. So beautiful.

One of the most beautiful neighborhoods in NOVA.

Shop and stroll. And look for classic cars! On 1 block I spotted 2 Fiat 500s: a 2012 and it's 50 yr old predecessor.

Definitely take the free trolley to see all the shops on King street .

Try the burger and onion rings at Columbia firehouse-fantastic!

Cheapest parking lot is city garage under Market Square.

Historic, beautiful and dog friendly . Hard to beat Old Town .

Best streets in NOVA if you ride a long board.
