Historical place. Used to be visited by Mafia boss Lucky Lucciano. Large selection of real Palermitan starters. For brave ones: try Panino con la milza (veal spleen boiled in lard served on a roll)
a wonderful and authentic Sicilian restaurant with tasty fish and wine .try mixed fish and wine 'etna rosa' which is good.We booked a table but if you arrive before sunset you can find a suitable table
Genuine Palermitan delicacies. Order the schiticchi, a street food sampler with caponata , involtini di melanzane, sardi a' beccaficu, and arancinette. I loved the richly savory margherita all'anciova.
Good, authentic sicilian food . You should try the caponata (an eggplant stew-like dish), pane con milze (spleen sandwich ) and cannoli (the delicious sicilian ricotta desert )
The right place to eat typical Palermitan street food , a wide range of authentic Sicilian cuisine in a beautiful historical Art Nouveau palace . Try Dietro le Case by the glass with "pani ca meusa".
Go for the milza and arancini ???????? tasty Sicilian food that you have to try.
Very beautiful old building , super impressive location. Try tris di focaccine to understand what it's all about) tasty local red wine !
This is the place to go to eat typical Palermitan food, a wide range of authentic Sicilian cuisine , encompassing pastas , pizzas , seafood . On the ground floor you will find a snack-bar, upstairs is a r
Caponata and crocche for the vegetarians , pane con milze for the meat lovers and cannoli for everyone!
This place is really a must-do in Palermo! The food is just perfect and the place looks really great! Try the arancine!
Cosy atmosphere and calm area . The street food is good (especially the rice balls ) but the focaccia was a disappointment. But a recommendation for a quick and pretty cheap lunch !
A must for tastings of typical Sicilian cuisine . Maximum attention to anti-covid measures????
Horrible service. Order 3 dishes for 3 people, 20 minutes later brought 2 and told 20 minutes later that 3 meals there . No apology, no dishes on the house. Nothing! spoiled the evening ...
If you love undercooked pasta , long waits and shit service this place is perfect for you!
Order the Schiticchio Vucciria at lunch if you're not sure what to get. A little bit of everything...!
Authentic Sicilian food at reasonable prices.Pair your meal with a glass of wine !!
Great setting which makes you nostalgic of older times nice food but a bit overpriced.
Great Sicilian food. Try everything!
tastefull dishes but you have to wait a little more to eat them!the staff is nice and the area quite calm
Great authentic sicilian food , great atmosphere and ambient.
Tasty food, friendly service , try the street food offers as a starter!
Gorgeous design, interesting food
Lovely food and setting in the square - a real gem
Great pizza but unfortunately unreasonably long wait times, both for seating and for service.
Try tuna steak with pistachio sauce!!!!!
Great place, maybe a bit too touristy . Not to miss if you are looking for some comfort food brought to the next level. Read more
You cannot leave Palermo unless you eat here first. Amazing
One of the worst experiences I have had. Service was appalling and food had to be sent back. Nobody really cared that 2 out of 3 dishes where left uneaten. Don’t be fooled by the beautiful ambience!
Coming to palermo and not eating here would be a shame! Very special sicilian tastes!
Acceptable food at very reasonable prices. Not haute-cuisine but what did you expect.
Best place to try palermo s streetfood
No diary-free food ...except for the fried stuff and the pani ca meusa
The food was tasty... but be careful if you are a tourist . They will try to rip you off. Check the bill twice , they might charge you for things you didn't get
Rigatoni Norma is good. Focaccia with ricotta is not :(
Pittoresco ????
Do not go here. shittest restaurant in Sicily. undercooked pasta , 1hr wait, place sucks
Focaccia is a BigMa; pasta with sardines wasn't good.
Good for a quick bite .
Well they dont care too much about the customer, and I had the feeling that do the same with the meal. Disappointing..
Touristy , but nice to experience
Delicious!<3
Touristy , but nice
Historic place, but disappointing in the end. The old shop is beautiful but the McDonald's-style menus and the big touristic crowd make it a bit too "industrial"...
Grumpy and slow staff , good food but not mind-blowing.
Over-rated!
Arancine!!
Good place to feel from Palermo.
focaccia con milza . don't miss it...
The food is bland, not good. Cute atmosphere but not worth having a meal here. The octopus salad tasted like nothing.
Food is tasty but the service is horrible. They are rude especially with the tourists ...
A hip new place in thr heart of the city, open all day, that serves great food at fair prices. The staff is friendly and the menus are also in english. - Cristian Andronic
Every kind of Arancini you can think of! With eggplant, ricotta, tomato or even topped with swordfish. Simply delicious, at a grat price. - Cristian Andronic
The service was awful! One of them threw me their catalogue of wines to finally bring us two glasses without telling what it was. I do not recommend this place at all! À éviter! - Antoine B
One of the must visit in Palermo. 8 euros(adult) for guide tour. (30 mins - English speaking guide tour, too) - Joon Kim
Che dire: meravigliosa. Da visitare anche i mercantini/antiquariato domenicali. - Daniele Pantaleone ✈️
Lovely street drinking in the summer. Great choice in cocktails at a reasonable price (by northern Italy standards at least). Recommended - Boaz Sachs
