Classic Austin spot. The water is always freezing, so be prepared for that. The lap pool can get crowded if you're into that.

Went here after seeing the line at Barton. Same water source ... So much less crowded . Cleaner bathrooms .

The mural is fabulous be sure to see it up close!

Want to catch the swimmers in action? Experiment with different shutter speeds -a fast shutter speed can freeze action, whereas a slow shutter speed can blur a moving subject.

Not quite Barton Springs but less crowded . I often go here to escape the crowds.
