Classic cocktails done right. I had an excellent Rye old fashioned . If u prefer beer , you can order from beer bar next door and bring your glass back to Bar X. Be prepared for a ton of hipsters .

New owners. New feel. New crowd. I loved the old, dirty , cash-only Bar X, but this place is great, too. Metro feel and Moscow Mules are refreshing. Service is slow, but worth it.

Wow, can't fault the recommendations for the Moscow Mule - it's the ginger beer that really does it. Mmm. And the copper mug makes the chill all the more tactile.

Amazing bar !!! BUT this is a speak easy ... why is the music bumping from a block away, why does the sign look like I'm walking into a cheap strip club and why is there outdoor seating out front?

This is the best place in Salt Lake City to get an Old Fashioned . However, you have to stand in line for about twenty minutes to get one.

Well crafted cocktails & a brilliant whiskey selection .

This bar is very small and has no wait service, but they have an interesting cocktail menu . You can also get some rare spirits here like Pappy Van Winkle .

Nice place but with only two bartenders and no additional staff , we waited 15 minutes on a weeknight without getting acknowledged. For fancy drinks ad fancy prices, you gotta have some service.
