New City Hall = Neues Rathaus is the the heart of Munich must see the clock tower - glockenspiel , and the figures as they dance to celebrate the end of the plague !

It's worth taking the lift up the tower so that you can take in the views over the city and the alps on a clear day. It's worth knowing you pay on the 4th floor . .

The glockenspiel chimes within the carillon everyday at 11am and 12pm, also at 5pm between May and October. Easy viewing from most of the street.

Modeled after the town hall of Brussels, designed by Jacob van Tienen, Willem de Voghel and Jan Van Ruysbroeck and built between 1404 and 1454.

The Glockenspiel is the largest carillon in the world, playing at 11, at 12 and 20:58, and in summer at 17 and 21. Climb onto the tower to see the view .

Great view in both night and day time. Nice architecture .

While waiting for the glockenspiel , you can admire the beautiful architecture or have a bite to eat.

Look out for the glockenspiel with its 43 bells and 32 figures that perform two historical scenes.

Absolutely must see. Tickets office is outside the building from the left side.

Have a look at the Juristische Bibliothek, a wonderfull Jugendstil library room in the 3rd floor.

По праздникам можно бродить по всей ратуше и подниматься на башню совершенно бесплатно. Много всего красивого и интересного внутри.
