The Half Moon (Wetherspoon)

One of the last remaining pubs on the Mile End Road (sorry state of affairs) The Hayfield, The Globe and others have all shut down and been replaced by Indian Restaurants etc -support your local pubs !

Two words: Brunch Burger ! And if you ask nicely they can make it veggie (my case). But my friends said the original is insanely good too!

Great place for cheap food and beer . Cheapest for most places near central london. Get there early special on burger and beer deal during the week it's great. All around it's great.

great place for lunch , just couple minutes walk away from uni, lovely staff , quality food at unbeatable price! With 4square offer, which is even better!

Great specials almost every day. Really reasonable prices and sometimes they have unexpected specials of the day. You never know what you might get. :)

Definitely the most aesthetically pleasing Wetherspoons about. Get very busy very quickly, as there are students everywhere!

Well since I have officially left Queen Mary, can I now say that I hate this shitey place but it's like the only place to go after you finish lectures/exams during breaks or whatever.

Cheap and cheerful, just as a Wetherspoons should be. Tasty cider on tap . Large outdoor area .

Curry club on Thursday, great decor, it was a theatre

The service is always very slow here, and they like to close the front bar for a bit at random times. The back bar usually serves faster, either way.

Average pub/weather spoon sort of place. It's got a nice and large back garden thou which is nice to hang out in, if it's sunny.

Pretty neat place, but if you're a Guinness fan give this place a miss; their tapped Guinness is rarely good.

typical whetherspoon but it tends to run out of things due to poor stock control and pub is often busy so expect a long wait . there are no other pubs in the area so people put up with it.

Cheap good pints and some of the best chips I've ever had from a pub .

I love the Steak Club Tuesdays here. Great meal for a fantastic value.

The Guinness is shit but whatever tonic they use in the G&Ts are amazing...

same as all wearhrrspoons but u wait ages to get served. stock control is better now but still not unusual to wait 10 minutes to be served.
