The ground floor is the best, great atmosphere without being deafened by music . Buy your drinks upstairs though - shorter queues. Ideal for groups of 8+, never had a problem getting in

As a music venue it has a nice setup, but incredibly hot & the speakers seem to be quite temperamental. Sometimes very quiet . One of the speakers seem to have blown when I went, which is never good.

On a Friday night, seemed like a good place for a meal with your date or friends, but not to sit down just for a drink. There's also space for live gigs separate from the restaurant .

Nice, reasonably priced bar with a club on Friday and Saturday. Friday music is more hip hop and r&b

Order the spatchcock chicken . And expect some decent service. Pretty good value - better than your average pub grub.

Nice vibe - brick walls, industrial lighting, raw woodwork structures and some metal along with some great tunes and cocktails . 👍

Hipster paradise. Drinks and food on the ground floor , upstairs features a club room with a stage and an extra bar .

If you're in a rush (and friends with the DJ ) there's a shower in the green room.

It's a great gig venue , and a great restaurant , but I wouldn't say it's great bar .

Restaurant too busy, staff confused about what's going on and keep asking guests to play musical chairs. Venue downstairs an OK space, but, stage too low so you can't really see much from the back.

Don't bother with orders more elaborate than a pint of beer . Sambrook's a personal favourite in Hackney.

Completely forgettable and nondescript; Sound was lacking. The real fun is actually to be had on the ground floor .

BAD table SERVICE, the food was 'ok' (chips were super OILY) but then I went to the toilette and the smell of MOLD on the stairs (behind the kitchen) was absolutely overwhelming!!! Not coming back.

Rump roast beef is horrible, chewy, no taste at all actually nothing at the plate was good. Oslo beer is ok.
