Their Eggplant Kimchi is, I'm told, pretty good (I'm not a fan of either eggplant or kimchi ). They also have creative kimchis made from kale , broccoli & yu choy.
This joint sells diner food , with a few Asian twists. They also sell Japanese & Korean snacks , instant noodles , candy & banchan (Korean side dishes). Their japchae was good.
Burger pretty decent. Curly fries good: crispy & flavourful. Half pound of wings - Chinese style: heavily battered. They were ok. As they were prefried, while crispy they didn't have fresh crispness.
Crispy Kimchi pork bun had kimchi flavour but seemed to be all glass noodles . I couldn't detect the pork .
For lunch , try the Chicken Sandwich with Bacon . I recommend no Tomato . For a drink add a half pint of Red Leaf. My usual :)
Mook central.
Mortadella sandwich on house made tomato focaccia. Killer. Saturday salad and pizza is good too. - John Coates
Hungry? They have Jamaican patties! - Rachel B
I love this place. Hipstery, but unpretentious, and super nice people. Best coffee in the neighbourhood too! - Ricky Shalamar
