The new fish market is realty not tourist friendly . All the views of fish are obstructed such that you cannot see anything substantial. I was expecting a large open air viewing deck. It's not.
The best view of the tuna auction is from the lower observation deck , which requires a ticket ahead of time. You need to apply for the lottery online at the Toyosu market website for this ticket.
The observation deck for tourists is a laughable joke. I would skip it. Hopefully one day they will offer walking tours or something on the floor. I was so disappointed.
Tourists cannot enter from 1F. Have to enter from 2F walkways
This market is not only not-toutist-friendly but also not-readied. Came here 2019/2/2, a Saturday, with thousands of other people. Then found there are 40 restaurants here. Guess how surprised I was!
