Ocean Beach Dog Beach

Probably my favorite dog beach in SD. Nice long area to run and the people and other dogs are friendly . Go early for good parking .

This place is incredible. Dog heaven. My girl loved it and we can't wait to come back!

Huge, gorgeous stretch of Ocean Beach devoted to off-leash doggy adventures in the waves and sand. ????️????

Bring dog toys ! Balls and frisbee ; plus some dogs were surfing ! Water fountain for dogs is available but if you are staying a while bring dog treats , water, etc. (fountain is on the way in or out).

Fabulous place for dogs. All but a handful of dogs were off the leash and everyone was getting along. Dogs and people where playing. What fun!

Take my dogs there all the time and they love it. 100% off leash dog beach . Lots of space to run around. Even have trails near by.

A great beach , even if you don't have a dog; there are fire pits nearby.

Awesome place. Be a good sport and bring an extra poop bag , someone will need it.

Don't bring food here, and don't bring babies.....my dog will get sand in your food an knock over your kid; because he is a DOG and this beach is for DOGS not picnicking or sunbathing

This place is great! My two pups love it! If there isnt parking in the lot, we like ot park by the softball fields , there is usually always a spot there :)

My dog loves it here! There's less dogs if you walk down the inlet.

Low-tide sunsets are terrific.

Unless you're sure your dog will run away or attack others, take it off the leash ! Otherwise it'll get territorial when other dogs come up to play.
